Edit: prepare a structured clinical draft

The Editor researches the topic, evaluates appropriate evidence, and prepares the clinical content using defined structures and terminology. Preparation includes checking medication names, active ingredients, clinical concepts, classifications, required fields, and supporting references.

Peer Review: assess independently

The Peer Reviewer assesses clinical accuracy, interpretation, completeness, terminology, classifications, references, and patient-management information where applicable. Unsupported conclusions, discrepancies, or missing evidence are returned for correction.

Review: verify the resolved content.

The Reviewer checks the final interpretation, consistency across related content, evidence support, wording, and resolution of previous comments. This is an additional quality checkpoint before publication approval.

Publish: confirm authorization

The authorized Publisher checks that required stages and approvals are complete, comments are resolved, references are recorded, and publication and version information meet the release requirements. Only approved content proceeds to publication.

Return, correct, and re-review

Content does not advance automatically. A review stage can return content for revision. The revised material must pass the applicable assessment before approval.

Transparency and corrections

Where available, clinical content should show review and update dates, references, and version information. Report a suspected inaccuracy, missing context, reference concern, or display problem through the clinical content concern form. Submissions require assessment; they are not published automatically.

Scope and limitations

Structured editorial review supports content quality but cannot guarantee that information is complete or error-free. RxPedia supports qualified professional judgment and patient-specific assessment.
